The performance of nine Toile' Farms ponies at Dressage in the Wine Country took place in August of 2009. Toile' Farms ponies were invited to perform in the breed demonstration informing the public of the Welsh breed. Ponies as young as two years old participated. The children ranged in age from 7 to 15. The ponies and children all in the ring together performed to the music of the Jackson Five, ABC. The audience was impressed with the young ponies and their temperment and the young age of the children in the performance.
*Soudley Royal Rose
(Soudley Royalist x Bawdsey Sweet Pea)
"Rosie", a chestnut mare, was imported from the Soudley Stud in Wales, owned by Deborah and Malcolm Young. Rosie is truly a lover of people - always talking to anyone who will listen. Rosie brought her own success to the show ring at the 2003 Royal Welsh Show, as well as her dam, Bawdsey Sweet Pea and her full brother in 2004. Rosie's 2007 foal Toile Royal Prince turned out to be a magnificent colt. We expect more great things from him as he continues his fantastic show career (see him below).
Rosie placed 3rd in the 2005 year end awards for SAHJA Pony Breeding Division.
Both his parents were imported from Wales. He was bred by Toile Farms and foaled on 2/17/07.

August 9, 2008 Starr Vaughn, Sacramento Area Hunter and Jumper Association show- Toile' Royal Prince came 3rd in the pony breeding class.
November 9, 2008 Historic Nelso Ranch show- Toile' Royal Prince was 2nd in the Pony Hunter Breeding.
Toile' Royal Prince received the third place award in the Pony Hunter Breeding division of SAHJA for the 2008 show season.
Toile' Royal Prince was the 2 year old Pony Hunter Breeding Reserve Champion for USEF Zone 10 in 2009. Awards were presented in Las Vegas, Nevada January 8th, 2010.
Toile' Royal Princeis also the Pony Hunter Breeding Champion 2009 for Sacramento Area Hunter Jumper Association (SAHJA).
Additionally, he has been started under saddle and is progressing very well.
Dominique is a 2003 chestnut filly imported from the Telynau Stud, owned by David Jones and Geraint Thomas of Wales. Dominique is a real eye catcher. She has a wonderful temperament and her personality style is that of a "Tom Boy", always chasing the boys (young and old) around the pasture. During 2005 she was shown mostly in the hunter-jumper show ring. Anticipate future foals from this one. She was awarded 4th in the 2005 year end awards for SAHJA Pony Breeding Division, during an extremely competitive show season.
August 9, 2008 Starr Vaughn, Sacramento Area Hunter and Jumper Association show- *Telynau Dominique earned a 2nd and 6th in her hunter classes. Her class was big and needless to say we were happy.
November 9, 2008 Historic Nelso Ranch show- *Telynau Dominique received the award of the Best Pony of the show. She placed mostly 1st or 2nd in her classes.
*Telynau Pirouette
(Eyarth Rio x Douthwaite Swan Lake)
Pirouette is a 2003 dark chestnut filly imported from the Telynau Stud in Wales, owned by David Jones and Geraint Thomas. She has been groomed to show, winning many shows in Wales during 2004. She was the 2004 Rhydspence in hand Qualifier while in Wales. Pirouette brought success to the Royal Welsh Show in 2004 before her arrival to the United States.
Pirouette was awarded 2nd place year end awards of the Sacramento Area Hunter Jumper Pony Breeding (SAHJA) Division for 2005, during an extremely competitive show season!
Mar Val Welsh Show, May 2008 - placed 1st Registered Welsh Walk/trot Pleasure and 1st Walk/Trot Equitation and 2nd in Child's First Pony. May 30 Paso Robles show- placed 2nd under both judges in the Section B mares.
*Telynau Pirouette (sold to Abigail Beck) was the Reserve Champion for Child's First Pony for the Soutwest Region of WPSCA 2008 show year. Iwana Show Off was third for the 2008 USEF/USHJA Zone Horse of the Year award.
Another Toile import from the Moelgarnedd Stud, owned by David and Eirian Williams in Wales, arrived in foal in November of 2004. Her lovely colt, Toile' T.S. Elliott, was born May 2005. Darlun is a 2000 liver chestnut mare who is exceptionally striking. She was found on a mountain top at the Hilin Stud where she was running with Carwood Orpheus, who sired her foal. Darlun had an extremely successful show season. Thanks to Zoe Tomlinson, Darlun is Reserve Champion English Pleasure 17 and under.
Mar Val Welsh Show, May 2008 - won her hunter division and 1st in the Leadline class and Leading rein classes.
July 26, 2008 Historic Nelson Ranch, Sacramento Area Hunter and Jumper show - Moelgarnedd Darlun won her classes and was the Division Champion in Hunter.
November 9, 2008 Historic Nelso Ranch show- *Moelgarnedd Darlun placed 1st in the Open Pleasure.
Jessica Baum riding *Moelgarnedd Darlun for the 2008 show season of the WPCAC received the Rocking Horse Ranch perpetual trophy and was the Champion of the year for Lead Line.
Darlun also received the Champion award for Hunter 12.2 and under for the Southwest region of the WPCSA.

Royal is a 2003 gelding purchased from Farmore Farms, owned by Tammy Burgin. His name, Royal Charmer, suits him well. He is the most gentle, charming pony at Toile' Farms. He is a wonderful mover and just glides across the pasture -- and with the temperament to match any!
'Royal' is a fancy large pony. He has been successful in the show ring, both in halter and under saddle, placing very well. He received Supreme Champion Section B gelding and Res. Champion Adult English Pleasure. We have found Royal very smart and easy to work with. He has been started over fences and shows great potential to do very well in the pony hunter ring. He as a natural eye and a soft jump.
He was awarded 9th in the 2005 year end awards for SAHJA Pony Breeding Division.

'Elliott' is an exceptional young Section B Welsh gelding with flashy looks, great bloodlines, and movement that sets him apart from many other ponies.
